First: You need to have a board that supports Advanced Clock Calibration. I used the GA-785GM-US2H motherboard from Gigabyte with the F12A BIOS update. DO NOT USE STOCK HEATSINK This is only a demonstration on how to turn your quad core AMD Phenom II X4 960T processor into a 6 core processor by unlocking the 2 disabled cores. It is not guaranteed that you will succeed in unlocking every processor.

Ok guys, here is an AMD build. Yes, an AMD build. It’s been a while since I had an AMD processor…I think my last AMD CPU was the FX57 / 4800+. The build hardware was picked out by the client entirely, I picked out the associated cooling system and of course will be doing the work putting this powerful computer together. I am looking forward to seeing some benches. Stay tuned for the completed build review. Enjoy, Trubyd44
