Question by *~*C*~*: Computer Automatically Goes To AwardBIOS Setup Utility After Being Turned On, Wont Do Anything Else?
What do I do??? No idea anything about this! EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that it gets fixed because the computer belongs to my friend who is going back to school in January n half the course is done at home on the computer… She can’t afford to buy a new one or have it fixed because she has a young baby and is raising him on very little money.

have you installed anything? Sounds like it or you have messed around in the BIOS and the computer won’t operate with the settings. If in the bios you can move around look for the load defaults and save and exit if this doesn’t work, maybe the Cmos battery on the motherboard is going bad. Good luck

Definitely the Core 2 Quad processor, they’re amazing. I recommend the Q6600, that thing is simply amazing.

Hi,
Your BIOS settings are wrong and it is coming into the setup so you can correct the wrong setting.
If you don’t know what you must change then first check id data/time is correct and you have configured that there is a harddrive configured.
If it still doesn’t work select the “Factory Defaults” this will set the BIOS in a state it was when the pc was new..
Hope this helps you to get started.
