@RanBmaster A 600w Power Supply would Be Good
I don’t know any motherboard bundles with an i5 2500k
and yes you can use as much ram as your motherboard can support

Where do I gett all the stuff!?
TheHaCkEr1234321 on February 2, 2012 at 4:54 am
@RanBmaster Don’t get the 550ti, it’s overpriced for the performance you get. Grab a 6870 or a 560 or a 560ti. And RAM sticks are called Dimms.

@daholmes25 No…? They are just discontinuing their 2 or 3 year old line of processors. They still have the FX series, the A8, and the A6 series etc…

is that some type of huge server tower in the back ground? I’ve never seen a server that big, most server mobos with quad sockets fits in a rack mount. That thing is huge
imachavel on February 2, 2012 at 7:25 pm
that may be an atx tower, but I see that that motherboard isn’t atx form factor, looks low profile. This is very nice. Please explain most i/o chip sets are on board, unless you add them in expansion slots. And most new mobos have adequate enough chip sets that you don’t have to add in expansion cards into expansion slots. However if you want to simply upgrade your old pc and you have a proper psu and expansion slot then you can upgrade that way.

amd has the pins on the processor itself huh? lga775 was the socket that came after socket 448 but before the i7 and I believe i3 socket, the lga1155? Or wait, did i3 fit into lga775? I love learning!!
imachavel on February 2, 2012 at 7:32 pm
second tower is much larger then standard atx form factor. That tower looks large enough for a server board with dual sockets

if I were the creator of this video(newegg in california), I would not have skipped the boot and install process.

@TheHaCkEr1234321 @TheHaCkEr1234321 I think the best bang for buck is the 6850 but…they are getting outdated and doesn’t have a decent framerate when playing bf3 at ultra setts on 1080p.
I say you get a 6950 or 560ti or if you can affor the 7950 at 450$ (Not the 7970)

I’ve been doing a lot of research for my first build and its nice to hear you confirming what I was thinking! Thanks for the helpful video!

Discrete videocard is an oxymoron, as those things actually may be the largest components on your build…
