First: You need to have a board that supports Advanced Clock Calibration. I used the GA-785GM-US2H motherboard from Gigabyte with the F12A BIOS update. DO NOT USE STOCK HEATSINK This is only a demonstration on how to turn your quad core AMD Phenom II X4 960T processor into a 6 core processor by unlocking the 2 disabled cores. Question by andrizzle: when calculating processing speed of a quad core computer processor?
do you multiply the number of gigahertz by 4? like the intel i7 with 2.66 gigahertz, would that really be 10.64?
